Yes. We often adapt content for multiple uses - for example, a whitepaper into blog posts, social graphics, or a presentation deck - so you get more value from the same core work. ### Can you test brand routes with stakeholders or customers? We can support with testing if required. In many cases it isn’t necessary - we’ve written more about when testing adds value and when it doesn’t [in our journal] (https://www.otherfolk.studio/journal/customer-research-in-branding). ### Can you work with existing brand guidelines? Yes. If you already have brand guidelines, we can refine and expand them to work harder for your team. If you’re starting fresh, we can build a complete set of guidelines from the ground up. ### Can you work with our existing Webflow site? Due to the many different approaches used by different studios, agencies, and freelancers, in order to avoid inheriting issues, we do not pick up existing Webflow builds. ### Do you handle copywriting, or should we provide content? We can do both. Many clients provide their own content, but we also offer copywriting support for websites, whitepapers, and marketing campaigns. For specialist or highly technical areas, we often collaborate with your in-house experts to make sure the messaging is accurate and engaging. ### Do you handle naming or trademark checks? We can support with naming and speculative checks, but legal trademark lookups and registration must be handled by your legal team. ### Do you migrate sites from other platforms into Webflow? Yes. We can migrate content from WordPress and rebuild your site in Webflow, ensuring it works smoothly and takes full advantage of the platform. ### Do you offer ongoing support after launch? We provide one week of post-launch support. After that, many clients choose a retainer for updates, new pages, and campaign assets. ### Do you provide hosting or ongoing maintenance? Webflow hosting is handled directly through Webflow, so you manage that subscription. We don’t run separate hosting, but we can support with updates and improvements through a retainer. ### Do you run brand workshops? Yes, our brand workshops run entirely online, making it easy to involve stakeholders wherever they are. ### Do you use AI tools? We may use AI for tasks like image retouching or research, but never as a substitute for design thinking or brand craft. All creative decisions and final outputs are made by our team. ### How do we start a project with you? It starts with a call to understand your goals, scope, and timelines. From there, we’ll issue a proposal and SOW. Once signed, we set up your project in our tools and confirm a start date. ### How do you handle tight deadlines or urgent requests? For new projects, the typical lead time to start is 2-3 weeks. Retainer clients already have time reserved each month, so their requests are turned around faster. However, we do not do overnight or 24 hour turnarounds. We’ll confirm what is realistic and set clear milestones, and if a deadline cannot be met, we make that clear early and offer alternatives. ### How do your retainers work? Our retainers give you a set number of design days each month, reserved exclusively for your team. You get priority access, faster turnaround, and predictable costs. Retainers are flexible - you can use the time for websites, branding, or marketing assets as needed. ### How long does it take to produce an explainer video? Most explainer videos take 4-6 weeks from brief to delivery. That includes scriptwriting, storyboarding, design, animation, and final edits. If you already have a script and brand assets, we can often shorten this timeline. ### How many rounds of revisions are included? Each project stage includes two rounds of revisions. This gives structure while keeping flexibility, and ensures feedback is gathered and applied in a clear, efficient way. ### How quickly can you start a new project? It depends on our schedule, but most projects can begin within 2-3 weeks. For urgent needs, we’ll let you know right away if we can fit it in sooner. For retainers, we typically work to a weekly cadence. ### What do we receive at the end of a branding project? You’ll receive final assets (logos, type, colour), brand guidelines, and any agreed collateral. Everything is ready to use across print and digital. ### What happens if our priorities change mid-project? Smaller changes can be absorbed. However, if new features or deliverables are required, or your needs change, they must be formally discussed and approved as a change of scope to avoid assumptions. New costs, timings, and resourcing are issued before any extra work begins. If the shift is large enough, it is treated as a new project with its own SOW. ### What types of clients do you usually work with? Our clients are typically SMEs and enterprise B2B teams, however we also work with well-funded startups from Series A onward. The work needs clear scope, defined stakeholders, and budget that matches the brief. Pre-seed or seed teams aren't usually a fit unless the scope and budget are already locked. ### What’s the typical timeline for a brand project? A brand project usually takes 6-10 weeks. The process includes discovery workshops, strategy, design exploration, refinement, and delivery of guidelines and assets. The exact timeline depends on scope and how quickly feedback is turned around. ### What’s your approach to meetings and collaboration? All of our work is delivered remotely. We collaborate through regular video calls, shared project tools, and clear documentation. This keeps projects moving quickly without the overhead of travel or in-person meetings. ### Which time zones do you typically work across? Our clients are primarily in the UK, Europe, and the US. We schedule calls to align with your working hours and keep everything else async through our project tools. ### Will you provide training on using our new site? We provide a handover so you know where everything is and how to access your files. However, we don’t run formal training sessions - if you need to learn Webflow, there are excellent courses available online. ### What are your payment terms? Retainers are paid monthly in advance so we can reserve design time for your team and plan the schedule properly. Hours are pre-reserved per client and do not carry over to the following month, so it's important to plan for the time you need. Smaller projects are invoiced on completion. Larger projects — such as branding and Webflow design and build — are invoiced at each major milestone, and before final delivery. ### What is the minimum retainer commitment? Our minimum retainer is two days per month. Retainers are available on a monthly, six-month, or annual basis. Monthly retainers require one calendar month's notice to cancel. ### Do you work with clients outside the UK and Europe? We work with clients in the UK, Europe, and the US. ### Do you offer day rates or one-off small jobs? We offer one-off projects — such as whitepaper design or presentation design — but we do not offer day rates or small admin-style jobs like document formatting. All work is either scoped as a project or handled through a retainer. This keeps timelines, expectations, and deliverables clear. ### What tools do you use for project management? We use ClickUp. Retainer clients have access to a private ClickUp space for submitting job requests, reviewing work, leaving feedback, and tracking monthly time usage. ### Can you work alongside other agencies? Yes, where other agencies cover disciplines we don't — such as PR or strategy — we're happy to work as part of a broader team. For anything that overlaps with our scope, that's best discussed as part of the brief. ### What file formats do you deliver? We deliver in whatever formats you need, and always supply source files. ### Are there sectors you don't work with? We don't work with clients in sectors such as tobacco, oil and gas, or industrial meat production.
